Programa Meru Wireless Service Assurance
Meru Networks, Inc., the pioneer of 802.11n enterprise networks, announced a guarantee program that provides WLAN service to business customers with wireless networks of trust and security required when deploying critical business applications over wireless networks (WLANs ).
The Meru Wireless Service Assurance program provides a set of three benchmarks the level of service they promise a predictable end to end application services in real time high quality and reliable WLAN system and high capacity. WLAN architecture based on virtualized Meru Meru and Service Assurance Manager software, this program is designed to ensure business availability and predictability of wired networks for business-critical wireless applications, while using fewer devices with greater efficiency other WLAN providers of competition."As wireless networks are moving towards a leading role as principal access for essentially all applications in companies located throughout the world, customers are seeking ways to achieve levels of reliability and services similar to those of wired networks," said Craig Mathias, principal of consulting firm Farpoint wireless and mobile technologies Group. "Three points of reference service warranty included in the innovative Meru assurance program aimed at exactly this goal. Meru's approach sets a new benchmark for the industry and accelerate the adoption of WLANs in any place. "
Historically, the wireless network has served as a network of convenience in the company, but with the capability to support critical business applications such as Electronic management of medical records (EHR - Electronic Health Records) on the wireless network, clinical patient records, multimedia education classes and POS applications, has the power to operate as a primary mode of connectivity and networking become necessary. To carry beyond the transition to wireless networks, the program Meru Wireless Service Assurance is designed to allow the reliability of wired networks and a reference point to transform the whole wireless company in ensuring:
- A 99.99% availability of the WLAN to run critical business applications with less than an hour of unplanned fall each year;
- To meet the needs of WLAN capability of the enterprise, while reducing complexity with up to 30% less access points deployed 802.11a/b/gon that networks with a multi-microcell architecture and
- A level of application service that promises real-time voice services with a quality equivalent to a landline service.
With more than 2,700 customer deployments, Meru has been tested in situ on its promise of service level and brings a new level of confidence to the WLAN clients. By harnessing the power of virtualized Meru WLAN architecture, which includes the wireless network and displays a single user, the patented technology from Meru Air Traffic Control and Service Assurance Manager software that Meru used to maintain service levels, along with strength in 802.11n, Meru can offer special specifications and service level for continuous monitoring and management capacity, an availability of 99.99% and performance real-time applications for wireless environments, leveraging the benefits of a similar to a wired network with the flexibility and mobility of a wireless network for IT companies and end users.
"Meru Networks has introduced in the market for wireless networks with technology that was simply different from what traditionally was available and the formula for dramatically improving the way the wireless network operates in the business," said Vaduva Bharghavan, founder and CTO, Meru Networks. "We have created solutions Meru from the beginning thinking that 802.11-based WLANs were much more than a convenience connectivity option to move from one workplace to another or for collaboration in meeting rooms, but rather to serve as a unique mode of connectivity to enable new and innovative applications, enriching the teaching and learning in schools, to develop medical care in hospitals and improve the internal workflow of organizations. The Meru Wireless Service Assurance Program is our way of supporting our claims and promise our customers a richer wireless experience for the most essential parts of their business. "
