Long-range surveillance with Korenix JetNet 4706f

QNV introduces New Power Over Ethernet industrial switch JetNet 4706f, winner of Computex Award 2008 Outstanding IT Product Award. This is the first switch PoE-plus in the world, equipped with 4 PoE ports and 2 uplink fiber or cable. The surveillance equipment is ideal for long-distance IP and wireless applications with wireless LAN and WiMAX.

The management features of the  JetNet 4706f guarantee the reliability and quality of transmission, including redundancy RSTP and IGMP multicast administration. Additionally the JetNet 4706f offers Rapid Super Ring technology, which allows recovering a missing link by activating the redundant path in just 5ms.
For increased system availability, JetNet 4706f actively monitors the network cameras. If a camera fails, JetNet 4706f reported to maintenance staff immediately and restart the PoE port for the device is activated again. PoE ports also provide advanced control and programming schedule (hourly, weekly, ...), ideal for saving energy in times when there is no need peripherals that are active. Each PoE port provides up to 30 W of power, suitable for the increasingly popular WiMax systems. The JetNet-4706 supports operating temperatures from -25 to 60 º C, with optional extended from -40 º C.
