Barcodes readers for all directions reading by Leuze electronic

Unoriented barcode reading  is performed with two or more barcode readers aligned with each other. The new systems MSPi by Leuze are electronic readers portals modular-designed and mounted on a base board (Figure 1).

Supplied with electrical connection and parameterization already done. This can cover a wide range of applications.

The bar code readers of the series BCL 500i and BCL 501i, used in portals, enable, through the integrated Code Reconstruction Technology (CRT) and its high reading speed, reliable detection of codes drawn, damaged or dirty. The reading speed adjustable between 800 and 1200 scans / sec. ensures the reliability of the indentification, even in high-speed processing.
Its great depth of field and its large opening angle also favors its use in conveyor belts wide.
The flexible design MSPi system allows connection of up to 32 bar code readers 500i series in the same portal. Depending on the application, the code used (type of bar code and length) and speed the process, Leuze electronic readers mounted and adapted to the task of reading on a motherboard. Applications can be made with codes rotated (angle 360 °) and reading assignments from various sides (up to 6 sides).

Readers are integrated into the Leuze electronic network multiNet plus, parameterized and wiring - so they are ready without the need for assembly or installation. Multiscan working mode is based on the network protocol multiNet plus by Leuze electronic and interconnect allows multiple barcode readers, sending a single result. So readers portal behaves as a single bar code reader. This technology is used for example on packages transportirn in which the label with the barcode can be applied to the left or right side of the package either (see image 2).
Comparatively, without MSPi it would take two bar code readers and implementing application (Host) which manages the data submitted by the readers would get two results (a reading and not reading).

With the MSPi would take two bar code readers managed by a multiscan system- data filtering, eliminating those that do not work, and sending the valid data to the host. With the new MSPi systems, it can quickly perform a wide range of Plug-and-play applications without additional wiring, except food and communication with the Host.

WEBconfig integrated tool allows the user to make changes to the application from a web browser without installing any software on the PC.
