Power AC / DC Compact 350 W with forced cooling.

XP Power, distributed by Venco Electronica, announces the addition of new models to its product line MFA350 power supplies AC / DC aimed at industrial applications.

The new compact models of 350 W, available with Molex or screw terminals are fully encapsulated and offer two variants with fan mounted inside. The model with a fan in the upper ( "TF) measures just 172.2 x 84.5 x 50.8 mm (6.8 x 3.33 x 2.0 inches) and has a power density of 8 W for cubic inch (0.5 W/cm3). Also available is a model with a fan mounted on the bottom (-EF) with a size of 208.2 x 84.5 x 44,4 mm (8.2 x 3.33 x 1.75 inches). With the internal fan in both models, the dimensions notices indicating the total space of the necessary volume making them ideal for space-constrained applications where there is no airflow. In addition to models with internal fan MFA350 series also offers a version with convection cooling and U-bracket models hot swappable. The MFA350 delivers up to 364W input a margin of 85 - 264 VAC and is available with an output of 12, 24 or 48 Vdc. In the series DFA350 we can find a model with 48 Vdc input. The output adjustment function provides the ability to vary the output voltage by + / - 10% of the nominal value. The technique of resonant topology design employed in these units helps to provide a high efficiency typically reaches 86%. The MFA350 includes a standby power of 5 V and 0.3 A and offers complete set of signaling functions including AC fail, DC right, On / Off remote Active current sharing, and remote sensing. The convection-cooled models also have an output of 12 V and 1 A for the fan. The sources can operate at full load from -10 º C to +50 º C and degradation continue to operate with up to +70 º C.
