Low cost AC / DC power supply unit

XP Power, distributed by Venco Electronica, presents the new sources VCT60 AC / DC single output of 60 W, the first of its new "V" for power supply of low cost.

1U with standard dimensions of 50.8 x 101 x 24.1 mm (2 x 4 x 0.95 inches), sources are ideal for designs that require an economical source that fits in a space industry standard 2 x 4 inches.
The first product within the family, VCT 60-W series includes 10 models with single outputs that provide standard output voltages from +5 V to +30 VDC. VCT60 using sources with less power consumption to 0.5 W with no load, facilitates compliance with recognized energy-saving initiatives.

VCT60 series can provide up to 125% of rated power for 30 seconds. Engineers do not need to use a higher power source if the additional power is required only for short periods of time. This saves space and cost.
Operating from -10 º C to +70 º C, the series VCT60 with convection cooling can provide maximum output power up to +50 º C. Not necessary radiators or forced ventilation, which again allows for space savings and cost of extra cooling components.
The units comply with EN55022 level B for conducted and radiated emissions without the need for filter components. Surge protection, overload and short circuit are included in the entire range.
