Microchip Kit facilitates development of inductive touch sensing designs
Microchip Announces Development Kit Inductive PICDEM ™ Touch (part number DM183027), which facilitates the development of tactile sensing applications inductive PIC ® microcontrollers using standard 8, 16 or 32 bit or Digital Signal Controllers (Digital Signal Controller DSC) 16-bit dsPIC ®.
The basic principles of operation of inductive touch detection allow it to function through a front panel that can be plastic, stainless steel or aluminum, thus providing a completely sealed user interface that works through gloves and surfaces containing liquids . The main applications of inductive tactile user interfaces are the appliance market thanks to the possibility that the front panel is stainless steel, the industrial market by the robustness of the technology and the automobile market through its stylish aesthetics and the ability to reduce accidental activation touch.
Since joining the mTouchTM touch solutions for cpacitiva detection and analog resistive Touch Development Kit Inductive PICDEM is a tool to help designers to differentiate their products on the market.
