Broadband satellite routers HX260 Mesh and HX200

Hughes Network Systems, LLC launches its broadband satellite routers HX latest generation Mesh HX260 and HX200.

These new routers provide up to twice the performance and are based on the bandwidth management system advanced DVB-S2/ACM HX success.
Both feature a high performance processor and ample memory on board to offer carrier grade performance to corporate private networks, wireless connectivity and a wide range of broadband applications.
The HX260 includes an integrated and multi-channel TDMA demodulator that enables simultaneous connectivity mesh network and star in HX System, suitable for profitable private networks that offer a mix of voice and data, and easily managed from a central NOC location .
"Our new broadband routers HX260 and HX200 bring a new level of performance and functionality for HX System family of high success," said Dave Jupin, vice president, International Division, Hughes.
"Fully compatible with DVB-S2 standard bandwidth efficient with ACM, the new router platforms enable operators to quickly set up star connection topologies and mesh to offer voice and data grid (mesh) combined and profitable, including mobility applications 'on-the-move'. "
The HX200 supports connection to a variety of radios, including L-Band BUC industry standard, and is easily configurable to support the full range of advanced features offered by the HX System, including support for mobility. The HX260 multichannel demodulator allows the unit to operate in mesh mode with a single satellite hop to connect to another terminal HX260, providing maximum flexibility and network reliability.
