Adler Instruments announces the launch of the new line WaveRunner Xi oscilloscope Lecroy-A. Taking advantage of innovations and industrial design developed for the newly launched platforms WaveMaster WavePro 7 Zi and Zi 8, the new WaveRunner Xi series of oscilloscopes-A offers speed, performance and superior analytical skills in the frequency range from 400 MHz to 2 GHz
The WaveRunner Xi-A incorporates the new hardware architecture X-StreamTM II to increase the speed of processing, event capture technology "rare" TriggerScanTM to improve debugging and analysis, a new spectrum analyzer option for a purified in the frequency domain, and improved connectivity and remote control with LXI (LAN eXtension for Instrumentation) for automatic test systems. Its aggressive in black and silver design features a large high resolution screen, and is now available in models covering the range from 400 MHz to 2 GHz, with 10 GS / s sampling rate and 25 Mpts memory. The WaveRunner Xi-A Lecroy is the latest generation of the popular WaveRunner Xi platform, the most complete of its kind. The embedded PC in the team mounts a new motherboard, upgraded with an Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo, a faster RAM and a faster hard disk. This results in speeds of 40 to 70% higher than the competition by lengthy procurement analysis and decoding of serial data. Improvements in software also incorporates key elements of the X-Stream II architecture, which provides instant control of the oscilloscope without any delay or dead time.
High transfer rate with the X-Stream II architecture
Designed to work with large acquisitions and improved response, the X-Stream II technology enables high data transfer rate. This architecture uses waveform segments of variables to improve the efficiency of the CPU cache, resulting in processing speeds much faster compared to other oscilloscopes. This eliminates the eternal problem between long acquisitions and rapid processing.
TriggerScan detects more anomalies per second
The event capture technology detects and captures rare TriggerScan more anomalies per second. TriggerScan uses high-speed hardware to detect undesired behaviors, then capture and display persistence mode for additional analysis of glitches, runts, and any other deficiency. The trainer identifies normal behavior of the signal and then set a series of shots to the location of unwanted behaviors. TriggerScan capture only the signals of interest and provides answers in minutes instead of hours.
Spectrum Analyzer Option
The spectrum analyzer option for the WaveRunner Xi-A allows customers an effective analysis in the frequency domain. The option offers the usual controls of a spectrum analyzer, allowing the user to configure the computer by specifying a center frequency, span and RBW. The spectrum analyzer option includes the ability to see the signal levels of the peaks (peak number configurable), in table format, on-screen. Thereby significantly reducing debugging time.
The LXI interface improves connectivity
LXI is based on open standard LAN (Ethernet) for intercommunication systems, and is widely accepted in the test and measurement industry. LXI is equated with robust and mature LAN standard offering low-cost solution that is fully compatible and supported by all computer platforms. It also allows automatic settings, routers, network management, enabling engineers to build powerful, with web access, test systems in less time.
