"We have shown that our solution is prepared to respond to the challenges of the requirements of existing and future networks, which allow users to access content more complex at higher speeds.
LTE is a new wireless broadband technology that provides a data communications speeds significantly higher, with a potential to deliver hundreds of Mbps in the downstream channel and several tens of Mbps in the upstream channel, and reduced latency. This will allow end users to access content more complex at higher speeds, making global interconnections and improve the efficiency of communications.
Alcatel-Lucent is a world leader in LTE systems and founder ng Connect Program, an industry program that promotes an open ecosystem of partners LTE solutions of applications, devices and content. Ng Connect program offers operators of broadband wireless networks the advantages of open innovation, ambitious deadlines for introduction into the services market with LTE capability and the possibility of launching new non-traditional business models.
