RadioLinx ® smart wireless solution for industrial automation

ProSoft Technology announces the commercialization of new RadioLinx smart wireless solutions designed to provide wireless connectivity over large areas and even globally for industrial devices.

The Intelligent Cellular Gateways (Intelligent Cellular Gateways) use the existing cellular infrastructure to connect devices in locations scattered. The Intelligent RadioLinx Cellular Gateways can also be used to connect devices via the Internet to one or more places.
The smart wireless solutions combine robust mobile technology for industry, industrial models and protocols for software management ALEOSTM continuous connection. This software allows to know in real time device status and information on its proper functioning, such as network connectivity, data transfer and signal strength. Moreover, the utility ACEmanager TM allows local configuration and diagnostics of the device locally or by air.
The integration is facilitated by models that offer downloadable configuration support multiple industrial protocols like Modbus and DF1, and can be customized to provide support to others.
The smart wireless solutions are characterized by a compact, low power, DIN rail mounting and a rugged design suitable for operating temperatures in the industry and certification for hazardous locations Class I Div 2.
The smart wireless solutions are appropriate for industrial automation applications such as remote monitoring of equipment, management and control, monitoring equipment OEMs, M2M applications and non-critical control in time for water / wastewater in municipalities, electricity and oil and SCADA gas.
Versions are available for the following mobile networks:

- Serial Modem for GPRS / GSM Global (RLXIC-SG). Modem RLXIC-SG Series is aimed at applications requiring serial connectivity with cellular operators that use GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) to provide its service. GSM cell technology is also prevalent in most parts of the world.
- Ethernet gateway for HSUPA networks - 3G GSM (RLXIC-EH). The Ethernet Gateway RLXIC-EH targets applications that require connectivity to Ethernet with phones that use GSM operators to offer their service.
