M2M mobile IP modem for remote monitoring and reporting

Multi-Tech (R) Systems, Inc. has started marketing its new intelligent wireless modems MultiModem (R) iCell applications designed for remote monitoring and M2M mission critical.

The external modem has the universal group IP (UIP) Multi-Tech and a five port interface GPIO (General Purpose Input Output), which provides remote monitoring of the signal for a wide range of control systems. The application programming interface (API) for the IP group is for designers only need to program the IP functionality once for multiple applications, and GPIO interface allows the modem to capture and analyze data from remote sensing, as tank levels, access to loading doors and temperature.

The Multi-Tech IPU consists of a common set of network protocols TCP / IP and M2M applications that use the standard AT command interface. The IPU allows developers to write their host application once while with the freedom to select various communication options for Multi-Tech.
The modem GPIO interface has several modes handshaking with peripheral equipment through the monitoring voltage changes. GPIO Interface Multi-Tech has five sensor pin for general use. The entry conditions include I / O digital programmable, digital input ADC.
