GPRS/GSM modem module
The socket modem GSM / GPRS ISA (Intelligent Sensing Anywhere) has the ability to communicate via GSM / GPRS. Through a simple connector can give our implementation of this type of communication, further reducing development time of the solution.
The socket modem provides wireless communication capabilities with GSM / GPRS class 10 and can be used in a variety of applications including: industrial and medical systems, remote monitoring, remote diagnosis, remote reading of meters, security systems, vending machines applications, M2M, fuel depots, service points of sale, alarms, monitoring environment and security among others.
Communicating with our application is done via modem AT commands via a UART serial interface. The modem is tri-band GSM / GPRS 900/1800/1900MHz with an output power of 2 W in EGSM mode 900/GSM850 MHz, and 1W in GSM mode 1800/1900mHz.
