New V-HD: a robust antenna with optimum performance for DTT

Televes has launched the new V-HD antenna, a robust, compact solution with optimum performance to guarantee reception in the best conditions of the digital terrestrial television (DTT) signal.

  The new V-HD is a Yagi antenna composed of a dipole, a corner reflector formed by two parts with five elements each and two grids with seven guide elements placed at an angle and stacked vertically.

It offers a novel aspect and stands out for its optimum performance in both bandwidth and gain, and another of its virtues is it is easy to assemble. As it is made of high quality aluminium it also offers great mechanical robustness.

The Televes V-HD antenna incorporates an open-closed armoured dipole, which optimises the frequency response across the whole band. It is also equipped with an armoured impedance matcher which neutralises the effects of impulsive noise in the DTT signals.

The new V-HD antenna is manufactured at Televes’s own production plants and carries the European Technology Made in Europe label, to guarantee its reliability and technological innovation, a characteristic which has always defined the company’s products, and which is the fruit of a history spanning more than 50 years, as well as the compay’s industrial capacity and its strong commitment to Research, Development and Innovation (RDI).
