Broadband EMC Amplifiers

 

Rohde & Schwarz has developed the first family of broadband amplifiers. The company has leveraged its extensive experience in producing Broadcasting transmitters for the design of the new product line.

As a result, the R&S BBA100 is the broadband amplifier more flexible and market advanced. Its modular design allows users to select the frequency range and output power that meet your requirements. Its integrated capacity expansion ensures a return on investment. Each module can be replaced quickly and easily, reducing downtime to zero. The R&S BBA100 is ideal for applications in EMC test houses and in the electronics and automotive industries. The high quality and reliability of the amplifiers also benefit research institutes development laboratories and government agencies, and radio applications.

In their marketing, the amplifier having three frequency bands covering the range of 9 kHz to 1 GHz and a power up to 500 W. The base unit includes all control functions. The integrated system controller, for example, to control the frequency bands, it switches the system components and monitors the R & S BBA100. Many components are now integrated external before that until measurement configurations and more complex amplification systems can be implemented easily.
The basic version of the R & S BBA100 has three individually configurable interlock circuits and are assigned to a path of RF. This highly innovative concept of security allows, for example, work in shaping the measure or a DUT in a room while another is being carried out as and is being transmitted RF power. Optionally, you can select the modules input switching for RF path selection and sampling ports switchable. The switch modules will soon be available exit.
The R&S BBA100 can be configured according to requirements as necessary. If you require a higher output power and additional frequency ranges, the amplifier can be updated without having to replace existing modules and also in situ.
If you need maintenance, the user can easily replace the amplifier modules within minutes and without outside help. Furthermore, the extensive network of Rohde & Schwarz ensures very short response times.
The R&S BBA100 can be controlled through a color screen that displays the status of the system in detail and allows for intuitive navigation. Alternatively, a web GUI allows you to control the amplifier from a PC or laptop with an Internet browser. Several remote control interfaces allow to integrate the R & S BBA100 environments in labs and automated measurement.
