Lime Microsystems and picoChip are collaborating to develop a reference platform for 3G and 4G femtocells. The platform will operate in all frequency bands of interest, including existing and emergency.
It will be based on the integrated circuit multiband multistandard RF transceiver Lime, the LMS6002, and baseband solutions picoXcellTM of picoChip. This platform will enable femtocells designs based on the 3G or 4G standards (WCDMA / HSPA, CDMA2000, LTE and WiMAX).
